Those familiar with the show Jon & Kate Plus 8 know that Kate is no angel. Which is why, when the news of the divorce first hit the stands, no one was surprised when Jon exited the scene so fast that he left a cartoon-style dust cloud in his wake. On the show Kate was overbearing and constantly nagged her husband, which gave him viewer sympathy. After the announcement, forums and comment sections were flooded with the supporting sentiment “You go Jon! Get away from that witch!”.
But now, as Jon flaunts his freedom playboy-style in Manhatten, the sympathy has changed sides. More and more comments can be seen cheering for “Team Kate”. Thoughts along the lines of “no wonder Kate had to nag so much” and “I’d be a b**ch too if that’s what I had to put up with” are flooding the internet airwaves. Yup, with his Ed Hardy shirts and too-young girlfriends, Jon is garnering anything but sympathy now.
