Jon’s Joint Account Heist
Actions speak louder than words Jon. So what are his latest actions telling us? How about them revealing a level of spitefulness as before unheard of in Jon’s personality. Of course I’m speaking of the latest news to hit the internet on all things J&K+8 related. Jon’s dirtbag personality strikes again – this time monetarily. If you haven’t heard, now Kate is accusing him of making off with 230,000 dollars from their joint bank account. This money was allegedly set aside to help pay for bills, food, etc. – pretty much set to deal with the mundane daily expenses that quickly accumulate in multi-children families.
Where Jon has the money stashed is anyone’s guess. But rumor has it that this ill-conceived move (though what action on Jon’s part has been well though out?) was spearheaded by his lawyer. Sounds like Jon needs a new lawyer.
This is just one more battle in the ongoing spat over the couple’s joint bank account. NY Daily News has this story:
After TLC announced the Gosselin family’s popular reality show would be relaunched from “Jon and Kate Plus 8″ to “Kate Plus Eight,” leaving Jon without a job, Kate says her bitter ex emptied their shared account – which is used to pay bills and “contains all of our liquid money” – and only leaving $1,000.
“When you’ve left your children and their mother without the funds to lay for the roof over their head, it’s not acceptable,” said Kate, 34. “I need that money to provide for them. We were in the position after our sextuplets were born that we could not pay our bills. We did the show to provide a better life for them. Never did I think I’d be back in the same position.”
Under the rules of the Gosselin divorce arbitrator’s guidelines, neither spouse is allowed to take money from the joint account.
However, a couple days before she filed for divorce in June, Kate says Jon withdrew a significant amount of money from the account before the arbitrator’s rules were made. This led to Kate, who is the family’s primary bill payer, taking $100,000 out of the same account on the advice of her lawyer.
“I removed it to keep it safe,” she told Vieira. “I had taken $100,000 and put it aside safely so I could buy my kids food if needed.”
After the couple agreed to accept the decisions made by an arbitrator, Kate returned her half of the money to the account.
However Kate says Jon, 32, spent his $50,000 on “erratic purchases” for himself.

Something like this really ticks me of.Someone needs to pimp slap the shit out of him, this man has no shame.
