Loading ...Jon Gosselin and Kate 2.0 Had A Signed Contract
This story just gets better and better, doesn’t it? It’s not looking like Kate Major had a little bit more to quit her job over than just a 32 year-old dad of 8. Apparently the two had a little business venture going.
RadarOnline.com has obtained a covert, hand-written contract between Gosselin and Kate Major, a former tabloid reporter who he has been rumored to have had an affair with.
The contract reportedly promises Gosselin will hire Major as his personal assistant, paying her a percentage of his “accounts,” with a clause insisting that she not talk about the nature of their relationship.
The newly revealed document will likely become a major factor in a lawsuit filed by TLC, the network which airs Gosselin’s reality show “Jon and Kate Plus 8.” The suit accuses Gosselin for breach of contract and fraud.
The secret contract, dated July 28, 2009, reads: “I, Jon Gosselin, will employ Kate Major as a personal assistant,” pledging to give her “some but not all future accounts.”
Gosselin also wrote that “she will receive a percentage of accounts for payment based upon involvement.” (NY Daily News)
Well, well. No wonder TLC is all up in arms. This most certainly would count as a breach of contract.
