We’ve often wondered if those who’ve recently fallen for Jon Gosselin have lived under a rock before they met him.  His latest girlfriend, Morgan Christie, seems to be one of those people who know not of the reality TV dad’s notoriety.  But we’re pretty sure she’s not that dim; she just has her own reasons for allowing herself the humiliation of being with the Jon and Kate Plus 8 star.

“I have no doubt she’s doing it for the publicity.  It’s all about getting her picture taken,” the insider revealed.  “I mean, there’s nothing attractive about Jon Gosselin.  Why would Morgan want to be with an older, overweight man with eight kids?”

But since that’s what Morgan Christie is after, maybe we should just let her do what she wants for now.  She’ll eventually learn; if this really will be a big mistake she can look back on in the future.

Of course, if there is a chance of media attention, Jon will make sure he gets it. Apparently he’s been parading his new lady friend all over the film festival, all the while indulging in some major PDA. Enough that your average festival goer was feeling a tad uncomfortable at the publicly intimate moments.

“Tons of PDA, holding hands, kissing,” an onlooker tells UsMagazine.com. “They kept walking around, it’s not like they tried to be discreet and stay in a corner.” And despite Christie’s actual age, the law-school student “looked anywhere from 19 to 23,” the partygoer says. “Anyone who saw him remarked how inappropriate it was. Gosselin seemed to love the attention.” As for Christie, another guest that night says she was “super clingy and got jealous when he talked to other girls.” (US Magazine)

So one does wonder if this move has anything to do with the rumors of Jon’s money troubles? Here on the internet, Jon has been accused of being broke and mooching off of his new GF. It was supposed that he would be leaving his expensive NY pad very soon to take up with her and her money in Utah.

If rumor is right, then we will suppose no more.

Morgan Christie is a graduate of Emory University, earning her degree in 2007.  She was in the sorority AEPhi during that time, and later worked at a store called Blue Bee.  Soon she became employed at a law firm, and is currently planning to go to law school.

“Jon doesn’t have money to pay lawyer bills, legal fees and Manhattan rent. He needs to get rid of the NYC apartment. It is all too much for him to handle,” a source revealed.  “Jon is staying with Morgan in Utah and they are hitting the slopes together.  He felt like he needed to get away from the drama, so he escaped with Morgan to her family home.”

However, Jon’s friends have blabbed once again about his personal life. Such good friends.

One squealer reports that Jon didn’t necessarily choose to move in with Morgan. Instead, he had to dues to *gasp* money troubles.

“Jon can’t afford to pay his bills and a lot of people are asking for their money immediately,” the source said. “Jon doesn’t have money to pay lawyer bills, legal fees and Manhattan rent. He needs to get rid of the NYC apartment. It is all too much for him to handle.” (source)

Yeah, who knew all that junk and legal fees would cost so much? It seems that Jon fell into the well known cliche of “new money”.  He took one look at that chunk of moolah he milked from his cash cow (aka his kids), and thought he couldn’t spend it all.

News flash: You can if you spend it on stupid stuff, then spend it to do stupid stuff, then have to spend more to legally defend your stupid actions. Whoops. And now he can’t afford any of it.

So know, after only dating a month, Jon’s already depending on his new sucker girlfriend. Even the unidentified “friend” thought that Morgan could end up supporting the loser if she wasn’t careful.

Because nothing says “romance” like bankruptcy.

“Two different entities sought to solicit his services [for Super Bowl ad spots], but in my view, they were scared of TLC,” says attorney Mark Heller. “In my view, it was a mean-spirited act on [TLC’s] part.” (E! Online)

So far, it’s looking like the answer is no. Or at least, there’s no life after spending 3 years gaining a loyal and interested fan base, then ticking them off beyond comprehension by running around like a teenager experiencing mid-life crisis.

Yup, Jon has that formula down.

However, Jon has managed to get a couple takers wanting to slate him for Superbowl ad spots, but TLC moved quickly to block those deals from becoming reality. Jon’s shot at Superbowl fame went the way of his Ed Hardy children’s line and TV concept Divorced Dads.

Yesterdays dispositions went without a hitch. Kate Major was able to fill us in on the sad details of Jon’s hopes and dreams to promote motorcycles and stackable furniture, along with the clothing lines. I get the motorcycles, given the “bad boy” image Jon so desperately wants to convey, but why the stackable furniture?

Because nothing says “domestic convenience” like a teenage wannabe d-bag with multiple girlfriends.

BFF Michael Lohan told all in his deposition yesterday, much to the detriment of Jon’s case. He had plenty to tell regarding all the contract-breaching deals he and Jon made over the summer. Lohan himself already has put his money on a different horse, saying that he thought that TLC had a “strong case” and that he “definitely [didn't] think they’ll lose”.

Glad to know Jon has friends standing by him.

“I want to apologize to Kate in private. I’ll apologize to her for openly having relationships in the public eye. That was a huge mistake, because if she would’ve done that to me, I would have been extremely pissed off. Not because our relationship is over, it’s almost like a stab in the back. And now that I think about it, it was a very wrong thing to do. I definitely regret it.”

Yup, open relationships. Notice the “S” tacked on to the end of the word. As in, plural. Many. More than one.

Of course, up to this point, the only one who seemed to think that he was in only one relationship since his public divorce announcement was Hailey, so it’s not exactly news to us.

We’ve all been speculating as to how much Jon has been blowing versus saving. Extravagant vacations in Saint-Tropez, expensive condo in New York, and pricey baubles for his GF Hailey. Our unidentified source confirms all these spendings, and more. They even indicate that, while Jon has no qualms about Hailey-inspired spending sprees, he’s being a little more tight fisted when it comes to his kids.

Jon Gosselin is plowing through his share of the money from TLC’s “Jon & Kate Plus 8,” sources tell FOX411 exclusively.

He and soon-to-be ex-wife Kate Gosselin get equal shares of the money (reportedly $75,000 per episode each), but that doesn’t mean they do the same thing with their halves. Friends tell FOX411 Jon is going on spending sprees for his girlfriend, Hailey Glassman and living large in New York, while Kate is squirreling her cash away for a rainy day.

“Kate was the accountant in their family. She was in charge of the bank accounts and kept Jon on a tight leash and budget,” says an insider. “He got a certain amount of money per week and that was it. Now that he’s free of all that control, he’s like a kid with play money.”

But apparently not much of that play money is being spent on his own children, says the source.

“He uses his ‘Jon & Kate Plus 8′ connections to get free stuff for the children, and then he pays for big ticket items for Hailey,” says the snitch. “While he was in Vegas this weekend flirting with many other women, he bought Hailey expensive jewelry. Then he got tons of free candy for the kids.”

Jon has also taken on a New York apartment as his second home, says the insider. “Jon is spending a lot of money to live in New York City and be close to Hailey. She spends most nights with him and they usually order food or go out to nice restaurants on the Upper West Side. They take cabs everywhere and he takes her shopping and to visit her family. Jon houses his car in a garage in the city as well for easy access for the shopping trips and drives home to Pennsylvania. The money is going fast!”

However, Star Magazine has scoop. Evidently Jon’s dubious choice of a babysitter was in the house that evening, and Jon was feeling a little frisky. He ended up getting pretty friendly sitter Stephanie in front of the kids. And the twins weren’t having any of that! They freaked out and called mom Kate all in a panic over Dad’s amorous behaviour. Naturally Momma Bear came a runnin’ and the rest is tabloid history.

Evidently the two got cozy at the restaurant hangout and Stephanie ended up at Jon’s Pennsylvania home at 3 o’ clock in the morning. *wink wink, nudge nudge* Stephanie was then spotted attempting to sneak out at around 6:00 am. Of course, what walk of shame would be complete without witnesses? And thanks to some diligent paparazzi we can all play witness.

Now this is just a spin-off waiting to happen. Perhaps we could have a special devoted to interviewing all the women Jon has loved? Or, even better! a spin-off reality show where they compete for the Ed Hardy sporting star’s heart a la “The Bachelor”?
