Now yet another anonymous inside source is saying, no. Those tears were about as genuine as your grandpa’s false teeth. Just a ploy to get viewer sympathy.
“Crying on TV was part of the agreement,” said an insider concerning her November 2 interview with Natalie Morales of NBC. “The whole thing was staged to make viewers feel sorry for Kate in order to drum up support for her new show Kate Plus 8. (Times of the Internet)
If this source isn’t yanking our collective chain, can anyone says they are surprised by this news? Yes, Kate made quite the show, agonizing about her divorce with Jon and accusing him of being an alien abductee. But deep down I don’t think that many people were fooled. This whole debacle with J&K+8 has been based on so many untruths that it’s hard not to be a little cynical.
In the end, I think Times if the Internet sums up our feelings on the matter quite nicely.
For the rest of us it’s hard to believe Kate Gosselin is feeling that much emotion about losing her man.
After all, it’s only Jon Gosselin.

It looks like Jon’s apology worked -sort of. At the very least, now Kate has come out and publicly apologized to Jon for her bad behavior. A common criticism about Kate has been how she constantly berated Jon in front of the cameras, effectively emasculating in front of the American public. Up until now, while she hasn’t blatantly denied it it, Kate certainly hasn’t admitted to her bossy actions towards her ex.
But not anymore.
Kate Gosselin says she regrets berating and bossing around her estranged husband, Jon, on episodes of Jon & Kate Plus 8, conceding she was “wrong to treat him that way.”
“I was very hard on him and I would never deny that,” Gosselin told Natalie Morales on Monday’s TLC special Kate: Her Story. “I felt very much like a lot of weight rested on my shoulders.”
The matriarch was often captured chewing out her husband on the early seasons of the show and says critics were right “to a degree” that she emasculated him. “Was it good, healthy and wonderful? No,” she said. “Am I proud of those moments that were captured? No.” (source)
While she did step down from that pedestal of hers and apologized for her rude attitude, Kate still didn’t show any sympathy towards Jon and his “lost youth” whining – an attitude that resulted in his recent relationship blunders.
Can’t say as I blame her.

]]>I have no idea what has taken this girl this long to figure out what the rest of us noticed a week after Jon became “single”. She’s calling him a liar and saying that he’s been throwing “mantrums”. So…she’s still with him..why?
In yet another “exclusive” interview, Hailey will be talking with “The Insider” about her relationship with Jon and her desire “to be forgotten”. Like that’ll happen.
]]>Really. What else is there to tell? And in the end, will it really matter? Jon will just come out with his own conflicting statement via impromptu paparazzi interviews, thus muddying the water even further. Or, more likely, Kate will just continue to dodge questions and gloss over the ones she can’t. I highly doubt we will be hearing anything revealing next Monday.
Someone please just put this fiasco to sleep. It’s just painful watching TLC drag this on and on. After this interview, we’ll be treated to a “top moments” episode, then a couple episodes that will surely just be more scrap footage cobbled together with minimal coherency. November, here we come.

With Jon AWOL, and the kids legally locked up (for TLC anyways), Kate is pretty much the last “character” from the show that TLC can trot out for the viewers. I guess they’ve got to fill that time slot somehow. But will the special be as revealing as the network is touting it will be? Or will it just be more smoke blown in order to make Kate and TLC look better?
]]>So far I’ve been mute on the flying accusations that Jon only wants the kids off the air now that he’s been dumped from the title. It’s just been tabloid speculation, even though the timing is quite *ahem* coincidental. But I’ve gotta say, actually hearing him talk about it, it sounds like sour grapes to me. If he can’t be on TV, then no one can!
He’s now vehemently (always vehemently!) declaring that he wants his kids off television. He wants to give them back their childhood. Hmmm…sounds familiar. You think he’s been reading all the celebrity blogs populating the internet? You know, the ones all asking the Gosselins to give their children back their childhoods?
But really. How can we take this seriously after he went on and on about how much the kids love filming, it’s “ridiculous” that it’s hurting them, it’s not work, etc.? At least fess up to that previous attitude, Jon. But he’s not even acknowledging the fact that just a month ago, he had no problem selling his children down the river. Hmmm…what was that again? Your children as mini Ed Hardy models? Remember that?

This makes zero sense. This girl hung out with Jon for one date, a couple dinners, and a sketchy weekend at Jon’s BFF Michael Lohan’s house. We’ve been over this. Nothing new has happened.Why are we talking to this tramp? She was a nobody reporter working for a trashy magazine who was too stupid to keep her job when “conflict” arose after one freakin’ date. What about that combination makes for good interview material?
As if her opinion mattered or was even close to being relevant at this point, she’s hitting the airwaves to tell us she despises Jon, like we didn’t already know. She couldn’t have been doing well in the journalist arena if she had to hack Jon Gosselin of all people to describe her feelings. Poser.

This week we all had the dubious privilege of hearing Jon’s side of the story. And Kate doesn’t like seeing all that dirty laundry aired for all to see. Not one bit.
But can you blame her? All of us gossip hounds have been hoping she’d let something juicy slip in her numerous interviews, but she’s kept a tight lid on the Gosselin family personal issues. Her interviews have been delivered with chilly precision and Kate’s been dodging the personal questions Matrix-style. Perhaps Jon should take a page from her PR team?
