So one does wonder if this move has anything to do with the rumors of Jon’s money troubles? Here on the internet, Jon has been accused of being broke and mooching off of his new GF. It was supposed that he would be leaving his expensive NY pad very soon to take up with her and her money in Utah.

If rumor is right, then we will suppose no more.

After hearing that Jon’s New York pad had been trashed right after Christmas, all fingers flew to point accusingly at Hailey Glassman. Their abrupt and distinctly unpleasant breakup during the holidays certainly made her a likely candidate as the trespasser, especially with rumors of yet another potential flame flaring up in Jon’s love life.

But Hailey vehemently denied any involvement in the vandalism, despite a signed note with her name on it discovered in the apartment. She and her lawyers are claiming that she was framed.

Originally Jon’s legal camp didn’t express any intent to press charges against Hailey, but now it seems like they’ve had a change of heart.   The scuttlebutt on the metaphorical street says that Jon intends to file a criminal complaint against his former flame.

This should get interesting.

Kate will not be hosting the new show this spring.

Rumors are flying as to whether she has been dropped by the network, with the reasoning being that she was “too controversial”. I’ve also seen a report stating that Kate had never been slated to be a full time host for the show – only a guest.

Well, I just don’t know what to think. I guess we’ll just have to wait to see what other showtime gigs Kate comes up with.

So what does TLC have in store for its viewers?

According to US Magazine, this last episode will treat us to two separate outings with the kids – one with Jon and one with Kate. Jon will be taking them to a  fire station, and Kate will cart the kids over to local dairy farm.

As if these kids haven’t had enough family outings. But hey, I guess they’re more interesting to watch than Kate emasculating Jon at the grocery store.

After this, we shouldn’t see any more of the Gosselin family for a while. The word is that TLC will be focusing on the production of Kate’s new show until it launches in early spring.

What will the end of the show mean for the Gosselin family? Will we continue to see them in the news, or will they finally be allowed to fade back into obscurity? Obviously we will be seeing more of Kate, since she does have another show slated with TLC. Hopefully she will be satisfied with that amount of media exposure, and from here on out, won’t see it necessary to involve her children with anymore show business.

But what about Jon? He whined that regular employment was no longer an option for him, due to the flock of paparazzi that shadow his every step. Will that still be a problem when the show ends? We all know exactly how skilled Jon is at attracting media attention. There was also the rumor that he and BFF Michael Lohan were putting together a new reality show tentatively called “Divorced Dads”. With the end of his TLC contractual obligation, will Jon once again pursue that  avenue of income?

So many questions, and no real answers. I suppose we’ll just have to wait and see what Jon and Kate decide to do. The ball is in their court.

There is still some denial as to whether or not this is actually going to happen, but the rumor is that both octoparents were offered a million dollars to do the show. That’s a lot of money. And it sure isn’t looking like Jon will be getting a regular paycheck anytime soon. Oh, that and it looks like he’s trying everything possible to dodge going back to a regular job.

An “insider” source says that Jon has given the idea the green light, but Mike Heller, Jon’s manager,  claims that Jon has turned the million down. Hmm…doesn’t seem very characteristic of Jon. So I guess give it a week and we’ll know if this televised monstrosity will be airing.

So far these are still technically rumors. It has been said that Jon is flying out to Los Angeles in November to discuss these ideas, but the networks are mum on the subject.

“He told me that he had enough there that when the ball dropped he would have enough to completely screw her over.”

In September, we were told by the mother-daughter team that Jon used the male version of “Don’t worry sweetie, I’m on the Pill” line. He’s assured her that he had a vasectomy done soon after the sextuplets were born, so she didn’t have to worry in the slightest about getting pregnant. We have no confirmation one way or the other on whether or not this is true. But is that not one of the nastiest lines you’ve ever heard? Ick. My stomach’s turning just reading the line – I can’t imagine suffering the horror of hearing it.

Since that line didn’t send Stephanie running into the cold night, we can only start questioning her character. Then after allegedly sleeping with Stephanie 9 times, Hailey caught wind of the affair and left that jerk on the side of the road. Whoops. I mean, she actually just sat him down for a conversation to see if he had, in fact, slept with the babysitter. According to Stephanie, Jon asked her to lie to Hailey and deny ever having more than a professional relationship with the octodad. Hailey bought it and stuck with Jon, thus leading us to doubt in her character as well.

This month brings more Santoro snitching. But now the allegations have taken a darker, and much more illegal, twist. First she’s making comments about his weed habits, all the while claiming absolute innocence of any knowledge of the herb. She said he was “acting funny” and she didn’t know what could be wrong with him, and that she didn’t even begin to suspect marijuana until Jon made a comment to an unidentified friend about the quality of the “stuff”. Hmm. I guess the candy bars and Pop Tarts didn’t give it away.

I gotta say, I’m suspicious. I doubt that she really didn’t know what pot smelled like or how a stoned person looks. One trip to Walmart late Friday night can show you that.

But really, all we’ve heard from Stephanie up ’til this point is just smut. Just rumor mill, gossip grapevine fertilizer. And Jon gives us enough smut to last us until the end of the year.

But wait, there’s more.

Stephanie has also made the accusation that Jon confided in her and told her that he stole $100,000 from one of the couple’s bank accounts. Nice. Very smooth Jon. Was that a pickup line too? And, even worse, she’s claiming that he also bragged about hacking into Kate’s personal online accounts, such as her email and banking accounts. Whoa. If these are all proven true, Jon could be facing more than just some court hearing over missing money.

What a tool.

The TLC network filed a lawsuit this morning in Maryland against the octodad for breaching his contract, according to the Associated Press.

The network claims the “Jon and Kate Plus 8″ star hasn’t kept up his end of its exclusive deal, by allegedly getting paid to appear on other shows and making unauthorized disclosures about the show. (NY DAILY NEWS)

Could part of his breach of contract have anything to do with all that filming he’s been doing on the side? Despite all his protests against TLC having its cameras in his family home (calling it “detrimental” to his kids), he doesn’t seem to have any problem with ET’s cameras. I’m sure Kate has been less than happy about that. Remember, she’s still not allowed to do any filming whatsoever.

Double standards just aren’t flattering.

While he doesn’t want TLC shooting his kids for his wife’s new show, the soon-to-be divorced dad seems to have no problem parading them around in front of other cameras.

Gosselin allowed “Entertainment Tonight” crews to capture him picking up a birthday cake for twins Mady and Cara at Cupcake Café in New York Oct. 8, according to MSNBC. com.

And “ET” cameras were reportedly waiting at the Gosselin’s Pennsylvania house after he picked the twins up from school, and live-streamed the event.

Gosselin recently banned TLC from his home, where they were filming Kate Gosselin’s new show “Kate Plus 8,” a spin-off of the cancelled show both parents were part of.

He recently told Larry King, “It’s not healthy for my kids to be on the show…It’s detrimental to them.”

But the Octodad seems to have a double standard.

Gosselin apparently has a deal with “ET” that gives them access to the kids even during the messy divorce.

“He has a deal with ‘ET’ for interviews and they get special access to events, like the twins’ birthday,” the source shared with MSNBC. “The terms don’t stipulate that the kids can’t be involved.”

TLC confirmed to the Daily News that their cameras are still staying away from shooting the eight Gosselin children.

“We’re still not filming the kids,” says TLC spokewoman, Laurie Goldberg. “We’re still working on the show with Kate.” (NY DAILY NEWS)

Hmmmm….now what about that could possibly have TLC upset?

Not that the big day didn’t have a few bumps in the road. Jon was sent to pick up the cake, and lo and behold, Mady’s name was misspelled. No big deal, but for whatever reason, people just don’t like seeing their names misspelled on birthday cakes. I know I’m one of them.  Supposedly, an unnamed female caller placed the order for the cake and added an extra “D” in Mady’s name.

The bumps in the road did take a slightly more attention whoring twist in the form of Jon’s publicity antics. The suspicion is that Jon tipped off some photographers about the time of the party (and his presence at the home, of course) in exchange for some moolah. Radar Online has the riveting footage of that little stunt. In the video Jon claims he’s just stepped outside to “make a phone call”. Riiight. I’m beginning to think that Jon has “paparazzi-sense”. He can feel the presence of a camera up to five miles away (and then wastes no time jumping in front of it).

Is anyone else creeped out by the two “Team Jon” fans in this video? They even had T-shirts made! Ewwww. If it were me, I’d be weirded out by strangers coming to my home wearing my name on a shirt. But not Jon. He seems completely unphased as they discuss their rad shirts while he signs them. Words are not enough to describe my feelings about this. Just know that it makes me supremely uncomfortable.

The video is mercifully short (I don’t know how long I could take Jon’s emo, monotone replies to the media hounds crowding his fence). Jon eventually pulls out his phone to make that call that he ostensibly intended to make in the first place, then slowly begins wandering back towards the house.

So there you have it. I can only hope for the kids’ sake that their birthday went as smoothly as it appears to us.

But who wants to watch a household activity so mundane we all avoid doing it ourselves (just look at my “dumping grounds”), when we can just tune in to any interview-based show and get the real action? The money he-said-she-said debate has no end in sight as of this moment. The Gosselins have a rumored 11 bank accounts squirreled away, so there seems to be a little confusion as to which one Jon has been pilfering. Now Jon is claiming to have irrefutable proof that the supposed $230,000 withdrawal never happened. He’s waving around more bank statements than there are signs at a health reform protest rally. All are going to prove he only took the pocket change sum of $22,000.

Given the Gosselins’ love for the camera, I’m sure we’ll continue hearing about this little drama as it unfolds. Kate, it’s your move.
